Below are the details of our Temporary Holiday sites that run throughout the summer.

HS1155/2025 Foy THS, 15th May to 1 Jun

EWDA would like to invite you to their THS near Ross, situated in the tranquil village of Foy (Out & About Ref: HS1155/2025), within the Wye Valley AONB, and is just 5 miles from the historic market town of Ross-on-Wye. The site boasts beautiful views of the traditional Herefordshire countryside.

THS runs from the 15th of May until the 1st of June 2025. £12 PUPN. There is no need to book; just turn up, and we’ll make you welcome.

Spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Please let the stewards know if there are any special requirements, and they will try their best to assist where possible.

The towns of Monmouth, Ledbury, and Cheltenham, as well as the cities of Hereford and Gloucester, are all within 30 miles or less.

The Royal Forest of Dean is also just a short distance away and is a fantastic leisure destination. 

This quiet riverside location is on a minimum facilities site (tap and elsan disposal), a short distance from Ross on Wye.

Ross is a pleasant market town with a good selection of shops and eating places. There is a Sunday car boot/market held on the cattle market. Symonds Yat is only a short drive away, where the RSPB has a viewing area overlooking the Wye Valley and a Peregrine Falcon nesting site. There is a small cafe and toilet block. Way-marked walks through the woodlands.

​In the valley below, a riverside pub has a good menu and tables by the river. Boat trips are available from the key side. If you are more adventurous, there is a canoe hire centre alongside.

Remote Riverside site with possible fishing in season (always check).

The Forest of Dean is approximately 12 miles from the site and offers wonderful forest walks. Just outside Upper Lyndbrook, there is a cycle centre with cycle hire. If you don’t take yours, they have all sizes, even electric ones for the less energetic. There are marked trails through the forest with various stages of difficulty (maps available at the centre).

The Malverns, Ledbury, Newent, Hereford, and Monmouth are interesting. The Abergavenny market is popular. There is a local swimming pool.
A Local Cider farm is approximately 2 miles from the site where the local brew can be tried.

From Ross, take A49 Hereford Rd. Take 1st turn Right at the top of the hill. Sigh Posted Foy. In 2 miles, turn Right at T junction—site on the Right in 1 mile.

2025.09 Avonbank THS Booked, 9th to 23rd Sept

This is a Booked THS that runs from the 9th Sept until 23rd Sept 2025 a minimum of 4 nights is required (Out & About Ref: HS6024/2025)

£17 PUPN excluding electric, Electric is available for an extra fee. EWDA requires a £30 NON-RETURNABLE DEPOSIT when Booking and the balance paid by 2nd Sept 2024.

Beautiful site situated on the banks of the River Avon in the lovely quaint Worcestershire village of Wyre Piddle. Only a 20-minute walk into the beautiful market town of Pershore, with its Abbey and many shops, cafes, pubs, and restaurants.

Perfectly situated in the heart of England for the ideal escape and is centrally positioned to travel to many attractions and places of interest in the surrounding area.

Fishing may be available and canoe/ dinghy launch at extra cost.

  • Avonbank, Wye Piddle, WR10 2JF
  • Leave M5 junction 6 onto A4538. Then A44 to Evesham. Cont to Wyre Piddle. Thro vill to memorial cross tn R into Church St (drive slowly) site on left in 0.5m. If approaching from Evesham do not take Sp Lower Moor only, but cont to the end of bypass. Then A44 to Wyre Piddle.
